What can I do with Team Tasks in ChatGPT?

Once connected, you can – depending on your permissions – use Team Tasks features directly in ChatGPT, for example:

• View projects and tasks
• Create projects and tasks
• Edit tasks
• Create and edit steps
• Add comments or evidence
• Assign tasks
• Retrieve status and task history

How do I connect Team Tasks to ChatGPT?

1. Select Team Tasks in ChatGPT or start the Team Tasks integration.
2. Sign in to Team Tasks.
3. Review the requested access permissions.
4. Grant access.
5. ChatGPT can then use the granted Team Tasks features.

What data can ChatGPT access?

Access depends on the permissions of the connected Team Tasks account and on the features granted during authorization. ChatGPT does not automatically get access to all Team Tasks data. Projects, tasks or other content your account has no permission for can neither be retrieved nor changed through the integration.

Can ChatGPT make changes in Team Tasks?

Yes. If you have the required permissions and the feature has been granted, supported actions can create or change projects, tasks, steps, assignments or comments. Such actions are real changes in your Team Tasks account.

How can I disconnect ChatGPT?

Sign in to Team Tasks and open "API access (personal agent)" in the app settings. Revoking the access listed there for the ChatGPT connection ends access immediately. Also remove the Team Tasks integration in ChatGPT.

Why can't I connect Team Tasks to an AI assistant?

For company accounts, the use of external AI/MCP connections may have been disabled by the company administrator. In that case, please contact the administrator of your Team Tasks organisation.

What data is processed when using the integration?

To handle a request, the Team Tasks data required to perform the feature you requested is processed or transmitted. For more information, please see our privacy policy.

The connection to Team Tasks does not work – what can I do?

• Check that signing in to Team Tasks succeeds.
• Connect again.
• Make sure your Team Tasks account is active.
• If the error persists, please contact support.

A project or task is not shown – why?

Visible content depends on the permissions of the signed-in account and on the project permissions. In some projects, members only see tasks assigned to them.

An action cannot be performed – why?

Possible causes are missing permissions, required evidence, open steps or other conditions configured in Team Tasks.

Why can a task not be marked as done?

Team Tasks may require that all steps are completed or required evidence (comment, image, video or document) is provided first.

ChatGPT shows outdated information – what can I do?

Please run the request again so the current data is retrieved from Team Tasks.

What should I keep in mind regarding security?

• Never send credentials in support requests.
• Do not share passwords, OAuth tokens, API keys or any other secrets.
• Revoke API accesses you no longer need in the app settings.
• Please report suspicious account activity to support immediately.

How do I get an API key?

Create personal API accesses in the app settings under "API access (personal agent)". Company accesses are managed by administrators in the company settings. The key is shown only once when it is created – store it safely.

Does the app work offline, and what happens with conflicts?

Projects and tasks that have already been loaded remain available offline. Changes are queued and sent automatically once a connection is available again. If someone else changed a task in the meantime, Team Tasks detects this via a version check and does not silently overwrite the newer change.

How do I set up two-factor sign-in?

Open the Security area in the app settings and enable two-factor sign-in. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and confirm with the code shown. Keep the recovery codes in a safe place.

How can I cancel?

You can cancel at any time effective at the end of the billing period – via subscription management in the web app or, without signing in, via the "Cancel contracts here" page.

Can I export my data?

Yes. In account management you can request an export of your data in the privacy area. Projects can additionally be backed up in the app settings.
